Please Tell Mom This Is Not Her Fault

May 7, 2008

so may is here. and it sucks, majorly. this is the one season i can’t stand, or even the month i should say. my allergies get all flarred up and i can barely talk, walk, eat, breathe, sleep… that whole thing sucks. but not to complain about my life, oh wait a second. this is a website about the life and time’s of myself. so i can talk about anything or everything that is in going on in my life. it is hi, my name is travis, not hi, my name is [insert name here].

anyways, i picked up the new from first to last album yesterday. and it’s awesome. with the departure of sonny moore it changed the musical style of the band, and i think for the better. its an awesome cd and totally redifines the band as a whole. so pick it up, and support your favorite musical acts.

that being said, my knee is still in excruciating pain. i really don’t know what to do with myself now. it is starting to actually hurt more than the surgery back in 2005. odd. but yeah, nothing new going besides that. i have been taking pictures all weekend with my digital camera. and i found out it has a macro lens on it. awesomeness! so now for you entertainment, some random pictorials i took.

p.s. carmel, your dead to me.

Pretty. Odd.

recently the new panic at the disco album, ‘pretty. odd.’ was released. on tuseday. and the album is awesome. i don’t know how a band like panic can go from their first record to this. surprisingly, it almost has a death cab for cutie feel to it.

besides that, nothing new going in m life. sunday night i went bowling. and i tore up the lanes. no, not really. i came in last every time. me and ronnie both sucked. i’m not speaking for him, but we both came in last, so i guess i can something about it, right? anyways, go pick up the new panic album and buy me a burrito too. i’m hungry.

A Band In Hope

March 18, 2008

i recently went to my local record store, being best buy in tracy, ugh. and i picked up the matches album ‘a band in hope’ as i was stuck in traffic on the way from tracy i listened to it. to some people, they would consider me a music condisuour. i love buy music, supporting the artist and having a piece of my own. i know, weird with everyone illegally downloading music from the world wide web. anyways, its an awesome record. the matches are from oakland. oakland, local guys and they are sweet. i saw them last year in 2006 with +44 at the fillmore. they put on one hell of a show. an awkward band, but i’m an awkward fella as well. pick it up if you know what’s good for you.

besides that, mustache march is in fully swing. ugh. probably the worst part of this godforsaken holiday. i didn’t shave for 15 days. you couldn’t tell. but now, i have this thing on my upper lip. and i hate it. its already way thicker than last year. sweet. my stache is going to be epic even though i hate it. here’s a picture i took with me new macbook pro.

Secret Crowds Rise Up And Gather

January 25, 2008

as of late, the weather has been completely horrible. and i mean retched. constantly raining, being windy, then sunny then rainy, then windy. ugh. its depressing. normally i would love this weather, but not so because i work in this at night and it is not fun what-so-ever. anyways, i don’t think its going to change until next week or so. lame

with that being said, i haven’t really been able to do much except work. nothing exciting going on my life. i tried to take some cool pictures, but they didn’t turn out to well.

Purple Lightning Barrel of Lumber Tree Lighting

so yeah. pretty lame week for me. but there is some cool news i found out. angels & airwaves has shot a video for their next single ‘secret crowds‘ which is going to be epic. not just because the song rocks, but because of the concept of the video is. anyways, i guess they are in some alley way and there are hundreds of kids, literally. and it two-stories tall and its raining. the premises behind the song is, if you had your own world and made it they you wanted. and had the power to make an empire for the person you love. kind of cool meaning if i don’t say so myself. anyways here’s a video some was able to capture. check it out!

bringing the awesome. bye bye.
