saturday morning i treated myself to buying a nintendo wii. and it freaking rocks. i love it. awesome.
so last weekend i picked my all new apple time capsule. and let me tell you much this bad boy rocks. it wirelessly backs up everything i do on a day basis. its awesome. and it also is a wifi base station with 802.11n. all i did was add onto my dad’s exsisting network and made a super network in my room. its solid to say the least. right now, its backing up. awesome.
i just my new macbok pro yesterday. and it rocks, hard. i’ve never had my own computer before, and even a mac. but i love it. expect more blogging about nothing. ha!
may the force be with you, but mostly with me.
i’m pretty stoked right now. on the edge of my seat. waiting in dire anticipation. my apple iphone was updated. yes, it might seem like nothing to you none using iphoneless people. but it was big, i guess. evidently, since september 2007, there hasn’t been an update. they only thing that apple had put onto the iphone was the widget to the itunes music store if you had a connection to a wifi base. but today, a new version 1.1.3. was released along with the new apple macbook air.
anyways, the things i am able to do with my iphone is 1: adjust my home screen. which is pretty cool because i can move around all my icons to wherever i like and also put new icons on the dock to appear on every page as well. with that, being on safari, if there is a page i constantly visit, i can add to the home screen. say for instance, i can add the himynameistravis website to the screen of my iphone. awesome.
2: maps. plain and to the point. what i can now do with maps is see real-time traffic in process. so i can decide whether or not to take I-5 or 99 and see which one is more congested. also, there is a new feature that pin-points my exact location on maps through cell towers and computers and really smart things that i have no idea about, but probably a satellite. you can also drag a pin around get directions to other places. really, maps isn’t that great this time around. lame.
3: sms texting. i can send multiple text’s. woo-hoo! not that big really except for if i want to send to crazy chain text. i don’t know. lame i know. in all actuality, it’s kind of the same as a hacked iphone. i personally would never do it. but luis did. and i think the only reason apple keeps coming out with these programs, is because other people are making and upgrading new programs without the permission of apple. anyways, that’s really just about it. oh yeah, soon you will be able to rent movies via itunes too. awesome!
bringing the awesome, every single day, in every single way.

so after all the people who hacked their iphone’s, apple finally put something out exactly the same. i guess when hacking it, you pretty much ruined your iphone. apple stated that after putting a third party program on it, that they had no more ties the to customer for repairs or anything. im glad i never did it to my phone. but they finally came out with something like it, just web apps. they are pretty cool. i put smugmug on mine. it shows some really cool photos that people take. but they also have a facebook link, bejeweled, and a whole bunch of stuff you could do. i think i want to do the jigsaw puzzle, ha! anyways, thought i’d let everyone know whats going on. i am a busy man. very busy.
steve jobs you have made me a very happy man with my iPhone. kudos.
